The famous home of the Byers from TV show ‘Stranger Things’ has been sold to a new owner, who plans to turn it into an Airbnb.
The house is in Fayetteville Georgia was listed on sale last week by Michael Smith for 300k. It’s a three-bedroom, two-bath ranch home.
“This home was featured throughout the first few seasons of the show and remains a nostalgic focal point of the series,” the listing reads.
The listing regarding ‘Stranger Things’ also states, “Since the show was aired fans have travelled far and wide, almost daily, just to drive by and get a picture. So much so that the owners had to put up a driveway barricade and ‘Private Property’ signs just to keep people from trespassing, so needless to say the house gets a ton of attention.”
According to TMZ, the home was bought by a client of Katie Siplon of TriCounty Real Estate in Savannah, Georgia.
The platform adds that the new owner already plans to turn the home into a top-of-the-line Airbnb.
