The Federal Government is set to announce the removal of COVID-19 vaccinations as a requirement for entry into Canada.
The change will mean foreign nationals will no longer require an approved series of vaccinations to enter the country.
It also means Canada-bound travelers will no longer be subject to random mandatory COVID-19 tests.
Unvaccinated Canadians who return to the country will also no longer need to quarantine, and using ArriveCAN will also be made optional.
According to CBC News, the government has decided not to extend the current COVID-19 Emergency Order-in-Council relating to border measures, which was set to expire on Sept. 30.
