The Portland Classic remains close as it enters its final round, with three athletes tied at the top of the leaderboard.
American duo Andrea Lee and Lilia Vu, alongside Japan’s Ayaka Furue are all tied at 67 entering the tournament’s final round.
It’s an opportunity to win on the LPGA Tour for the first time for Lee and Vu, who were both World Number 1s during their college days.
“I’m just going to go out there and have a good time and let the golf do what it will do,” Vu said on the closeness at the top of the standings.
Furue, on the other hand, has already tasted LPGA Tour victory at the Scottish Open back in June, her first on the Tour.
Current title holder and World Number 1Ko Jin-Young is absent due to a recurring wrist injury, while World Number 2, American Nelly Korda, is currently six shots behind the top three.
Canada’s Brooke Henderson is four shots behind after a third round of 3-under 69.
