Tom Brady has issued an apology for throwing a Microsoft Surface tablet during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ win over the New Orleans Saints.
Unhappy at his offensive line during the second half, Brady was captured on camera unleashing his fury on a tablet.
The legendary quarterback posted a video addressing the incident on Twitter, apologising and accepting his fate as a meme.
“Sorry for breaking that tablet,” Brady said. “I think that’s going to be another Twitter meme or something like that.”
Continuing, the NFL star acknowledged his team’s victory.Ā “Great win to get to 2-0,” he begun. “Flying home to Tampa. Get ready for next week. Green Bay coming to town, let’s go.”
The tablet wasn’t the only one on the end of some physical violence, with Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore also getting punched by Bucs wide receiver Mike Evans, who was later ejected.
