Andrew Wiggins has signed a 4-year, $109 million extension with the Golden State Warriors.
The deal, which includes a player option in the final year, ties Wiggins to the Warriors for five years, $143 million.
The Canadian has one season remaining on a five-year deal he signed with the Minnesota Timberwolves that carries a cap hit of $33,616,770. He was traded to the Warriors in February 2020.
The team also agreed to a four-year, $140 million extension with Jordan Poole on Saturday.
The 27-year-old Wiggins, from Vaughan, Ont., averaged 17.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 73 games during the regular season last year.
