The producers of the recently concluded and acclaimed series Dark are here with another mystery. This time, on the high seas.
The minds behind Dark, the complex German speaking time travel drama are back with a new project for Netflix. While we are not yet sure if it is intended to be a limited series or a full blown television show, we are now a little bit certain of its plot, and the fact that it is multilingual, thanks to the new trailer released by Nerflix.
First announced during the Netflix annual Tudum event, the series looks to be about a set of international travelers who happen to be on a boat and whose captain veers them off course in the hopes that they can rescue a lost boat named the Prometheus. Upon finding the boat, they discover that it had previously sunk and also resurfaced, without any of its former passengers. This of course calls for an investigation on the mysteries surrounding the ship, its passengers, the disappearance, and how it resurfaced.
Janje Friese and Baran bo Odar are also running this project, in addition to being the creators. It also stars an international cast including Emily Beecham(Hail, Caesar!), Aneurin Bernard(Dunkirk), Miguel Bernardeau(Elite), Alexandra Willaume(Wheel of Time), Lucas Lynggaard, Mathilde Ollivier(Overlord), Clara Rosager(Before the Frost), Isabella Wei, Andreas Pietschmann who is an alum of Dark, and many others. The project is expected to release on November 17th.
