Remember how the third season of Succession ended? Logan Roy (Brian Cox) had just pulled the rug from under his kids as they tried to overthrow him and from the trailer for the upcoming new season, the Roy family battle is getting uglier!
“I’m a hundred feet tall. These people are pygmies” Logan says in the new trailer. We also get to see the “New Gen Roys” aka the “rebel alliance” which includes the kids, Kendall Roy (Jeremy Strong), Siobhan ‘Shiv’ Roy (Sarah Snook) and Roman Roy (Kieran Culkin) as they attempt to take down their father.
The trailer also shows a glimpse of the rift we witnessed in Shiv and Tom’s (Matthew Macfadyen) marriage by the end of the last season.
The season four logline reads,
“The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is completed. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.”
