The first official full trailer for the sequel to the highest grossing film ever, Avatar is finally here.
Titled Avatar: The Way of Water, the sequel takes us back to the world of Pandora and the Na’vi people. Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, the movie follows the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri and their kids) and their fight to stay alive and protect their home on Pandora.

The official synopsis reads,
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, “Avatar: The Way of Water” begins to tell the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids), the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
The cast of Avatar: The Way of Water includes returning leads Sam Worthington as Jake Sully and Zoe Saldaña as Neytiri, as well as Sigourney Weaver, Kate Winslet, Stephen Lang, Michelle Yeoh, Giovanni Ribisi, Edie Falco, CCH Pounder, and Oona Chaplin.
Avatar: The Way of Water will premiere in theatres on December 16, 2022.
