The first fruits of Drake’s OVO fashion house collaboration with the National Hockey League are here.
The first drop consists of new hats, sweaters, rugby polos, toques and other merchandise, designed for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Drake’s hometown city.
The partnership is called “Celebrating Icons of Hockey”, and the first drop features Toronto Maple Leaf legends Doug Gilmour and Curtis Joseph modelling the new line.
“The collection includes a limited edition [250 total made] leather/wool varsity jacket hand crafted in Toronto, Canada,” a press release reads.
“As one of the longest standing hockey franchises, the Toronto Maple Leafs have been an integral part of Canada’s sports heritage since 1917,” the release adds.
The post also said OVO’s collabs with other hockey franchises will be coming soon.
