The Waterloo Central Railway is bringing back its Magical Adventure Christmas trains.
The trains packed full of music, lights, and of course Santa and his elves is guaranteed to put you in the holiday spirit.
Located in Waterloo, the train is less than an hour and a half away from Toronto, decorated in over 15,000 lights as it travels through Waterloo’s scenic countryside.
Get into the holiday spirit as Christmas carolers and stories of the past are untold on board and all your favourite Christmas characters and toys come to life. Get in your favorite holiday outfit and join in the fun for a trip to the North Pole as you step back in time “A Vintage Christmas -– Christmas Lights Adventure.”
The train ride begins from WCR Farmers’ Market Station and is an hour long with options for a daytime ride or a nighttime ride.
There are also two types of seating on offer. The first is the standard coach car with traditional rail seating in groups of four and the second is their first-class lounge car with soft, upholstered chairs in spacious surroundings.
The Christmas Lights Adventure will run from Nov. 19 to Nov. 27 and Dec. 1 to Dec. 18 with ticket prices from CA$38.
