Premier League giants, Manchester United have released a statement following the release of an interview given by Cristiano Ronaldo to celebrity reporter, Piers Morgan.
The interview which is about 90 minutes long sees Ronaldo make damning statements about the football club. The Manchester United player criticised the club, the manager, the young players, former players and even the fans in the interview.
When snippets of the interview were initially released, the club confirmed their awareness of the interview but stated that no statement would be made till the full interview had been released.

In response, the club statement read
“Manchester United has this morning initiated appropriate steps in response to Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent media interview.
We will not be making further comment until this process reaches its conclusion.”
