Justin Bieber will reportedly perform at Takeoff’s funeral at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Friday.
The news was reported by TMZ, who say that all phones will be confiscated at the venue.
The 28-year-old rapper’s funeral will be held more than a week after he was killed in a shooting outside a Houston bowling alley.
Bieber doesn’t have any solo songs with Takeoff specifically, but he’s done a couple collabs with the Migos, including “What You See” and “Looking for You”.
State Farm Arena, which is home to the Atlanta Hawks, one of the many sports teams to honor the late rapper last week, seats about 20,000.
Born Kirsnick Khari Ball, Takeoff grew up in suburban Atlanta — Gwinnett County was less than flatteringly name-checked in a couple Migos tracks — alongside the two other members of the group. Quavo was his uncle and Offset was his cousin, and the trio was raised in large part by Takeoff’s mom.
