Prime Video has released a first look trailer for “Gen V”, a college-themed spinoff of “The Boys.”
Revealed in the preview are the additions of Clancy Brown, Alexander Calvert and Jason Ritter to the cast, along with teased guest appearances from Jessie T. Usher, Colby Minifie and P.J. Byrne reprising their roles from “The Boys” as A-Train, Ashley Barrett and Adam Bourke, respectively.
“Gen V,” which has been described as “part college show, part Hunger Games,” takes place at Vought International’s Godolkin University, the only college that is made exclusively for young adult superheroes.
The first look at “Gen V” shows that the spinoff will be just as bloody as the original show.
Throughout its episodes, which will debut in 2023, the series will explore “the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the school’s top ranking.”
The show’s cast includes Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, Asa Germann, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas and Marco Pigossi.
