Police are searching for a 22-year-old man as the major suspect in a Christmas Day shooting in Southeast Calgary that left one person dead.
Yosief Hagos is wanted on a second-degree murder charge as part of the investigation into the shooting death of 24-year-old Samuel Welday Haile.
An injured Haile was found in the 2600 block of 36th Street S.E. at around 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 25. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he later died.
Hagos is described as 5’11” tall, approximately 140 pounds, with a slim build.
