Rapper Kanye West has once again been suspended by Twitter after he posted a controversial image of a Nazi swastika inserted into the Star of David.
“I tried my best. Despite that, he again violated our rule against incitement to violence. Account will be suspended,” Twitter CEO Elon Musk said in an early morning tweet.
It is the second time this year that Ye has been suspended from the platform over antisemitic posts.
The tweet and Ye’s suspension from Twitter follow months of antisemitic comments from the rapper. In an appearance this week on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’s Infowars program, Ye expressed admiration for Nazis and Adolf Hitler.
“Well, I see good things about Hitler also,” Ye told Jones, later saying, “I like Hitler.”
Ye’s remarks have led to his suspension from social media platforms, his talent agency dropping him and companies like Adidas cutting ties with him. The sportswear manufacturer has also launched an investigation into his conduct.
