A first official trailer for “Death Stranding 2” was unveiled at The Game Awards 2022. Watch it below.
Producer Hideo Kojima announced on stage at the awards that work on the game had begun before the pandemic, but had to start all over again.
The game looks to be a direct sequel to the 2019 hit, with Norman Reedus set to return as lead character Sam Bridges.
Troy Baker and Lea Seydoux also retain their roles as Higgs and Fragile, with Elle Fanning and Shioli Kutsuna the new additions.
2019’s Death Stranding sold over 5 million copies.
