Connor Bedard continued his record-breaking campaign at the World Junior Championship in stunning fashion as Canada beat Slovakia 4-3 in overtime.
Bedard rescued Canada, scoring two goals, including the overtime winner. At 6:07, Connor Bedard scored on a breakaway from a Logan Stankoven feed, giving Canada the 1-0 advantage.
The goal made Bedard Canada’s all-time goals (15) and points (32) leader with two more games to go.
Canada will meet with the United States at 6:30 PM ET in the semifinal on Wednesday.
