H&M has announced the closure of a second Toronto store in as many months.
The latest store to close is the fashion giant’s store at 13-15 Bloor Street West. The store opened in 2004, and will close on the 22nd of January, 2023.
H&M’s Queen Street West location closed last month.
According to Retail Insider, H&M made the decision to close the store due to low sales and high rents.
H&M still has its flagship outlet at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre, with stores in other malls such as the Dufferin Mall, Sherway Gardens, Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Fairview Mall, and Scarborough Town Centre.
The company still has about 90 locations in total around Canada.
